Mitchell (owner) is the nicest dude ever. We got jet skis and they were in great shape and FAST. You might also run into Mitchell’s very cute (and tiny) dog Rocky that he adores. He’s been doing this for a while so he really knows his stuff about his gear and machines, and is very familiar with Lake Travis as well. 10/10 would recommend and plan on going back.Response from the ownera month agoThanks Ash! I love when people who have never ridden jet skis before come rent with us, because they usually leave worth a great experience worth our instructions I how to be safe and follow the rules and operate the machine! Mitchell was awesome, gave me a good deal on the jet ski I rented, showed up on time and was extremely professional. Jet Ski was super fast and well maintained. I will definitely be using his services again, do not hesitate to do business with him!

*  A credit card is required for the purpose of securing your reservation, cancellation policy, or No shows.  No deposit $0 necessary.

*Cancellation Policy:  A 5 day notice from your reservation time/date is required if you decide to cancel for any reasons.  We need time to rebook your time/date or we reserve the right to fully charge you for your reservation.  Cancellation must be by email and not by phone.  Holidays:  

There are "No" cancellations on Holidays or Holiday weekends.  No exceptions.  Please plan carefully.

*Weather Policy:  Heavy rain or Lightning is an automatic cancellation.  We will notify you.  We will tour if lightning is not in the forecast.  You have the option to tour in the rain.  Light scattered rain will not be considered for cancellation.  7 day forecast will not be considered for cancellation.  Forecast changes daily and we will only accept a 24 hour forecast from the time/date of your reservation as consideration for cancellation. There is no charge if cancellation is determine.  An email will be sent to you as confirmation.  Call or Text us for any concerns.

 WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY: For  a 48 hour cancellation notice you will be liable for at least half the rental amount if we cannot get the boat re-rented.  Less than 24 hour cancellation notice you will be liable for the full rental amount.

 WEEKDAY CANCELLATION POLICY (Monday-Thursday):  WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER We try and be very flexible when it comes to bad weather.  We will call you that morning if it is raining and you can reschedule .  Please note bad weather does not mean cloudy or a drop in temperature.

- WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO DRIVE A BOAT OURSELVESFor our self captain boats on Lake Austin you do not need anything except a drivers license unless you were born on or after September 1, 1993.  If you were born on or after this date then Texas law requires you have passed a boater education class or equivalency examination prescribed by the department.

- CAN I BRING ANYTHING TO EAT OR DRINK ON THE BOAT
Yes you can bring anything you would like to eat or drink. 

* We do ask that you don't bring red wine or things that stain the interior!

Glass and styrofoam are prohibited at the lake.

- WHERE DO WE MEET YOU AND/OR PARK? For Lake Austin boat rentals:  The Steiner ranch boat ramp is the best location to deliver to.

For Lake Travis rentals: The ramp best for us is in Lago Vista area. We can get you at the Lakeway Marina *(you will need to be dropped off at the boat ramp where there is a courtesy dock if bring picked up by boat out launched in the ramp for jet skis. 

The siesta shores marina is also a good option to be picked up at. Jet skis will need to be arranged where we pick you up and have you drop off the delivery personnel across the lake and same thing when returning them after the rental is over. 

DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION?
We do not provide transportation.  Uber and Lyft are back in Austin!  We recommend using one of these ride share companies to get to Lake Austin quickly.  For Lake Travis boat rentals we also recommend looking into a party bus, they are SO much fun!

- CAN WE BRING DOGS?
No. Sorry we don't allow pets. 

- DO YOU PROVIDE ICE?
No we do not provide ice but we do provide an empty cooler.  We do offer a $50 Yeti package which includes a Yeti cooler, ice and bottled water.

- CAN WE TUBE FROM A Jet Ski?
No we do not allow tubing from our jetskis, only the ski boats.

- DO YOU PROVIDE INFANT/KID LIFE VESTS?
Yes we have kid life vests of different sizes. 

 However, if you have one that you know fits your kid we recommend you bring it.  All children under 13 must wear their life vests while on the boat.

- WHAT DO PEOPLE DO ON THE LAKE?
There is plenty to do and see on Lake Austin AND Lake Travis.Lake Austin is a 26 mile long lake which offers a great scenic cruise.  There is also a "party" cove where boats tie up together and enjoy the lake and swim. There are restaurants located on the lake such as Hula Hut, Ables on the Lake and Ski Shores.  You can also stop by the rope swing located right after the 360 bridge.Lake Travis is much larger in size and we're almost certain you've heard of "Devil's Cove" where boats tie up and party year round! More to come....- CAN YOU SWIM IN THE LAKE?
Yes!!!! You can definitely swim in Lake Austin AND Lake Travis.- CAN YOU PICK US UP FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION?
If you have a boat with one of our drivers we can work with you.  Sometimes the drive to your special pick up location will cut into your rental time depending on the day/time.  Call us for more information.- CAN I FISH OFF THE BOAT?
If you bring a fishing pole you can fish!- WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF I HAVE MORE THAN 12 PEOPLE?
We can always do a double boat party based on your party size and needs.  We do require a 20% gratuity for our captains who do a double boat party.- WHAT IS NORMAL TIP FOR THE CAPTAIN?
The usual tip amount is around 20% but it is up to you and your experience.- WHEN IS THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE?
The remaining balance will be due at the end of the rental. You can pay with card or cash.

- CAN I LEAVE A TIP ON THE CARD?
Yes, you can leave a tip for your captain on the card you swipe.- CAN WE SPLIT THE PAYMENT?
We can split you payment in 2 but not more than that.- CAN WE PAY WITH THE CARD ON FILE?
All credit card transactions go through our payment processor so be sure to bring a card to pay with.- IS THERE A GRILL ON THE BOAT?
No we do not provide grills on the boat and sorry but you can't bring your own either.

- DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR GAS?
No gas is included in the price of the boat

 - IS THERE A MINIMUM?
We have 3 and 4 hour minimums depending on the day and boat.

 - CAN WE GO TO COUNTY LINE?
Unfortunately because the dock area is so shallow we do not go to County Line to avoid damaging our boats.

- HOW FAST DO THE JET SKIS AND SKI BOAT GO?

They are all full power vessels, meaning we don't limit the power of the RPM's learning keys are provided if you feel the need to use them.

- WHY CAN'T WE DO WATER SPORTS ON HOLIDAY WEEKENDS?
We do not allow water sports on Holiday weekends because of safety concerns. This includes tubing, water skiing and wake boarding. The lake is very narrow and because of increased boat traffic during these weekends it becomes a great risk for you and for us

- CAN WE RENT THE BOAT MULTIPLE DAYS AND LEAVE IT AT OUR LAKE HOUSE OR ON THE WATER?
No, we do not allow the boats to stay on the water over night. We will work with you to provide you a boat for the days requested.

- IS THERE A RADIO ON THE BOAT?
Yes our boat has a  radio, aux, and bluetooth  to plug in your own music
Refunds:  Any refunds by credit card that we issue will take up to 5 business days before it appears on your account.
