MANDATORY TEXAS BOATER SAFETY COURSE FOR ALL RENTERS BORN AFTER 9/1/1993

To ensure everyone’s safety and comply with Texas state law, all renters must complete the official Texas Boater Safety Education Course before arriving for their rental. This course covers important boating safety rules, navigation, and emergency procedures.

Who needs this course?
If you were born after September 1, 1993, Texas law requires you to have a boater safety certificate to operate a boat.

How to complete the course:

• The course is available online at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Boater Education website.
• It is self-paced and can be completed anytime before your rental date.
• Upon completion, you’ll receive a certification card or printable certificate.
   

Please bring proof of your completed Texas Boater Safety Course when you arrive. Renters without valid certification will not be allowed to operate the boat.
